Student Baggage :Air India Domestic Flight followed by International Flight?
Hi Guys, I have an flight from Mumbai to Toronto via Delhi. So basically there are two flights Mumbai to Delhi (Domestic) and Delhi to Toronto(International) both of Air India. Since i have student visa, i am entitled to carry additional baggage for an international flight. Will i be allowed to carry additional luggage from Mumbai to Delhi flight too? Will appreciate your inputs.

Normally when flying a connecting domestic flight to an international flight on the same airline, you are entitled to the larger international allowance on your domestic flight. Not all airlines have the same policy though, call your airline to be sure.

As an international student, there are loads of hurdles to cross. It is not because you are in the UK from India, it simply is just the fact of life. The process of adaptation alone is enough to cause one to be disorientated for a while. Having stated that, the most important thing is the admission. Whether the Student Finance considers you or not is secondary, as I would like to suggest a number of things that you can do to set your studentship on a different financial pedestal. I have included some links in the resource box and I am sure you'd find them helpful not only while you are studying, but even after your graduation from the University. I would like to wish you the very best in your undertaking. Regards, ADE

Hi...congratulations for your admission at LSE..as much as you are excited, you have taken the right step to look out for a Comprehensive Travel Insurance for him. There are many options that one can look for. If you are travelling from India, you could check http://www.insurancemall.in If you travelling from any other country - anywhere abroad - you can check quotes and buy best deals from their US website: http://usa.insurancemall.in
2 :
For people traveling away from their home country they can purchase international medical insurance. I recommend International Medical Group. http://www.imglobal.com/ I suggest checking out their website then call the 800 number and have a rep walk you through your options.

Use there web site to find out the requirements . You seem to know the rest, the website will give you the information or a contact to get the ball rolling. Don't forget you will need a to get a education visa which may take some time .

It is not to late to take your SAT's take them when they are offered. After taking the SAT's and getting your results back then start applying colleges in the United States. At most colleges they have on-line application forms or they provide forms for you to print out. They will tell you to mail your high school transcripts in and there is also an application fee which usually ranges from $25 to $50 USD. There are many wonderful colleges to choose from in the United States. Brown University is considered an Ivy League School. You might also try some smaller private colleges that contain really good Business programs, such as, Ashland College and Mount Vernon Nazarene University. There student populations aren't as diverse and they look forward to having foreign students.
