Hi iam a American student. just finished high school. And i think iam going to study dentistry in India, than come back too the states and take a two year programe. I'm really confused, how will I do this. Are their any dental schools in india that are accredited by the America Dental A ?? and if you can provide me with anyother use full info that would b great thanks a lot.

Hi, Since you're taking a 2 year program after your Dental Course in India,. I don't think it should be a problem. Schools in India have their own accreditations set by the state. As per my knowledge and experience I am not aware of any America Dental A accreditation so far. but we have a few good colleges which have some really good programs for foreigners. i got a us visa for 9 months when i was student in canada,but after completing the studies when i came bak to india n applied for renewal of us visa i got denied for lack of economic ties though i have valid visas n travelled to europe n uk many times????shud i reapply instantly or shud give it a break to apply....please suggest me

The visa issued in Canada seems to have been linked to your duration of authorized stay based on your Canadian temporary residence permit. The application from India requires to convince a visa Officer that you do not plan to immigrate and that you will have the financial assets to cover your up to six months stay in the United States for the next ten years [that's the regular validation of a U.S. visa issued in India]. If you have gotten a visa denial based on section 214b [US INA] because of lack of economic ties to your country it only makes sense to apply again if your situation has changed significantly. By U.S. law you may re-apply for a visa three days after the visa interview. The European visa application procedures are differrent since visa are issued based on the itinerary provided and their validity only covers the period of proposed travel..

Buy a home, or have family, investments, property, people and obligations which compel you to return home promptly to resume work and all when your 2 week vacation is up. Save your money. Then plan a 10-day trip to the US, have the itinerary, money, hotel reservations, et al lined up, and apply for a tourist visa for the 10 days. You should be able to get it. Having been declined, unless you address the specific issues underlying that declination, you will be declined again. Your countrymen have fouled things up for you - Indians have a perfectly wretched reputation for visa fraud, such as applying for tourist visas, then looking for work (which is actually visa fraud - obtaining a visa by claiming one purpose when you actually have some other purpose or intent).

Hi, How about INDIA SUMMER! You could have many Colors through out the prom with India status here and there as well as, flowers. Remember India loves colors. Low tables to eat on and throw pillows to set on, the front door make a drawing of the Taj Mahal and have the couples take there photos before going in, after that you can hand them a sweet drink on the house lol. For entertainment you can hire a hip hop India group or a hip hop dancing group with a mix of India moves. For dinner you can have the severs dress in India outfits, the food should be mix between India and American. Maybe something like this •To start with Samosas and some chutney •Then chicken curry with rice and veggies or Tandoori Chicken with Nana bread and salad with colors •Ending with fresh fruit or sliced watermelon and mango I do hope this helps you take care and have a great time at your Junior prom

Is is known to us that student applicants from India are not really coming to pay tuition and study. They are taking advantage of our system, and exhaust our college resources. Once they come, they will illegally work on jobs which would other wise go to Americans.

This is a temporary suspension in the UK, which is a much smaller country than ours and receives, for historical reasons, an unusually high number of visa applications from Indians. The idea is simply to sort out the possibly deceptive applications from those of genuine students. So, no, I don't think we should follow suit.

There are many excellent Indian students, but many others are attracted by so-called "rupee whore" universities who accept just about any Indian student willing to pay high tuition fees. There is no delusion on either side — the schools know many of these bogus Indian students will sooner or later disappear into the illegal economy, maybe working for their cousins in some rundown motel. There is a lot of marriage fraud for green cards.

What are the best course options for B pharmacy students from india in the united states?
What are the masters degrees in the united states for a student who has completed bachelors in pharmacy in india, and what are the job prospects for the courses? can any one recommend any sites for an advice other than this?

so..what is toefl..do i need to study for it at all?coz my english is pretty pretty good.spoken and written,i heard the toefl is a piece of cake?what happens exactly on exam day..?where can i register for the test..is it easy?

TOEFL is a standard examination for English language. All colleges in America are taught in English. So you must prove to the college that you have good writing and speaking skills in English. The TOEFL exam demonstrates your ability to do well in English only classes. American universities will ask you for your TOEFL scores.

Toefl testing is something worth studying for, from what I hear, even if you just do so to brush up on your grammar. A better score will be more impressive to a good university. I work on the weekends as a Toefl ibt proctor, so I know what happens during the test. When you come in, you fill out a paper about your results, then you're checked in by a proctor. They check your ID/ passport and probably take your picture. then you are seated and given 3 pieces of paper and a pencil for your use. You do the reading portion first usually, then comes listening. Then I think you get your 10 minute break. Then you get checked back in (so remember your passport if you leave the room for your break), speaking, then writing are done. The trickiest part is usually the speaking, because you really must speak loudly and clearly. It might be embarrassing but it's worth it to speak loudly so you don't have to repeat the test due to a poor speaking score. Hopefully this is helpful!
