Question / Query about Pursuing a biotech-related course in a US College (I am a foreign student from India)?
I am planning to do my post graduation in a US college, and am hoping to pursue a biotech / biology related course / degree. I am a foreign student from India, and had dropped biology in junior college (11th & 12th). Hence, i graduated in engineering, and have never learnt biology after leaving school in the tenth. Even so, is it possible for me to pursue my choice of course in biology, and if so then in which colleges?

You can pursue your dreams of bio-technology. Some schools may require special tests or introductory courses. A lot of schools have good Bio-tech programs. I don't know which state you want to go to or how much money you wish to spend, but I'll give you a list of some schools anyways. Marquette University University of Chicago

I dont think you would need the biology as a prerequisite for your admission. Most of the colleges dont require that and its prefectly ok to apply there. I am in Chemical engg and I guess if you have some chemical engg background it will help you. Also almost all universities are have some research work going on in Biotech area. So you can apply almost anywhere. But your admission will depend on your credentila sna dnot on the biology as a requirement. Hope this helps.
