I need to know laws for marriage between Me (american woman) and a guy (Indian student from India)?
We have been together over a year and are truly in love, he will eventually receive permision to stay through his job in the future but we really love each other and want to get married...I need to know where to begin in this process....any info will be greatly appreciated! Also need to know if it will be best to marry here or in India.

OK I'm not going to be racism I mean racis So I can tell your love is really deep You should get married in India. Get to know your "boyfriends" culture and when you do really get married you can impress him He has already met you in US now get married in india

Where ever you decide to get married I would definitely recommend a visit to his home to see the difference in culture. I have a lot of Indian friends but I know I couldn't live withing their expected constraints for women and they couldn't live with a European woman. At the end of the Day they believe we don't have any morals and I feel women don't have any freedom.

You are in Lust not Love... Geez he is pulling the oldest SCAM in the book to get a Green Card... Even if you filed to Sponsor him as a Spouse... He has to leave the Country while it is being processed... Unless you have Worked full time for 3 years and your AFTER TAX income is 125% over the US Poverty line...it is a NO GO !!!! Period...End of Story...
