Why should I as a student lose my chance of attending my dream university in USA?
I am an international student from India. I have got admission in 5 universities out of 7 i have applied to and i am still counting on the other two. My best admit is IIT Chicago. I want to know why people at embassies reject student visas. It gives a life-time opportunity to study at best university in USA and I should be allowed to fulfill my dream of obtaining a MS degree from state-of-the-art institution. What are the major causes on which they reject students.

In my humble opinion, you shouldn't lose your chance to attend a University that accepts you for admission. However, unfortunately right now, international students are having a very difficult time coming & staying in the United States with all of the immigration/visitation concerns since the 9/11 attacks. American universities are asking the same question as you are. Hopefully the policies of this government will change enabling you to come here for education. Good luck to you!
