Maybe he wants a free ride to America. Can't you find some one of your own race???
2 :
probably needs to file for a fiancee' visa K-1 I think then marry within ninety days. Good luck
3 :
OK I'm not going to be racism I mean racis So I can tell your love is really deep You should get married in India. Get to know your "boyfriends" culture and when you do really get married you can impress him He has already met you in US now get married in india
4 :
Where ever you decide to get married I would definitely recommend a visit to his home to see the difference in culture. I have a lot of Indian friends but I know I couldn't live withing their expected constraints for women and they couldn't live with a European woman. At the end of the Day they believe we don't have any morals and I feel women don't have any freedom.
5 :
You are in Lust not Love... Geez he is pulling the oldest SCAM in the book to get a Green Card... Even if you filed to Sponsor him as a Spouse... He has to leave the Country while it is being processed... Unless you have Worked full time for 3 years and your AFTER TAX income is 125% over the US Poverty line...it is a NO GO !!!! Period...End of Story...

get over it and marry him in india
2 :
So what if his parents can't speak good English? As I'm reading your sentences, I can find many grammar mistakes.
3 :
well if you love him and want to marry him, then go ahead. race shouldn't matter really. trust me, i'm indian, and i know pakistani's and indians hate each other and each culture wishes their children will marry within their own. but honestly, we should get over such grudges, and be free to marry from whatever race. do what you feel is right, and don't care too much what your parents or his think. they'll get over it eventually, because parents love their kids no matter what. hope i helped =)
4 :
Just get over the whole Indian-Pakistani thing. It's really stupid and it makes me mad every time some one becomes instantly prejudice against someone becaues of the country they're from. Unless he personally or his family has actually hurt someone then it doesn't matter. And obviously you liked him before so why should him being Indian hurt you now? The only possible problem is religion but if you two actually love each other, then that shouldn't matter too. And why does it matter if his parents don't speak English well? Are you marrying him or them? And it's not really something that comes up in everyday conversation so he probably didn't think it was important enough to tell you.

You may submit your visa application 120 days before your school term begins. You may not submit it any earlier. You must be accepted by a college or university before you submit your application. Then, you may enter the U.S. 30 days before your school term begins. So, the processing of your visa will not be more than 90 days. See website below for all info on student visas.

To study abroad, you must be accepted at an institution in the country you want to go to. You must prove you have sufficient funds to pay for all of your educational expenses, all of your living expenses, and your transportation home upon completion or termination of your course of study. All international student visas forbid the student to work. And it is up to the student and his/her parents to ensure they have adequate funds for travel, school & living expenses. Foreign students are not eligible for student loans (unless your parents can get a loan in your home country), financial aid, government grants, etc. from the country where they want to go to school. No one but you and your parents will provide financial support! If you cannot afford to go overseas, go to school in your own country where it will cost a fraction of foreign study. Note in particular for nursing programs: you have to do your student nursing rotations in hospitals. You have to pay tuition and you get credit for it. You do not get paid while you are a student nurse. The same things goes for various internships required in some programs of study: pay tuition, get credit. These are not "paying jobs".

You have to apply for your spouse's dependent visa. You have to prove that in addition to having sufficient funds for all of your school expenses, plus all of your living expenses, plus return transportation to Nepal, you also have sufficient funds for all of your spouse's expenses and return to Nepal with you.

I doubt it very much or should I say I hope not, Regulations on immigration are being revised in Parliament now ,perhaps you should be asking yourself how are you going to pay for your degree and support your wife in the UK as well?

Hi, Since you're taking a 2 year program after your Dental Course in India,. I don't think it should be a problem. Schools in India have their own accreditations set by the state. As per my knowledge and experience I am not aware of any America Dental A accreditation so far. but we have a few good colleges which have some really good programs for foreigners. Check out http://www.kims.ac.in/kids/ its one of the very good deemed universities in India. there are lots more similar to that. If you need help in getting admission into Medical,MBA,Dental or Engg via Management Quota. Just mail in with your requirements, budget and type of course etc. to orioncnsltnt@gmail.com We provide Direct, Management and NRI Seat admissions to students in some of the best Medical ,MBA,Dental and Engg colleges in India. Embassies & Consulates - 2 Answers

1 :
The visa issued in Canada seems to have been linked to your duration of authorized stay based on your Canadian temporary residence permit. The application from India requires to convince a visa Officer that you do not plan to immigrate and that you will have the financial assets to cover your up to six months stay in the United States for the next ten years [that's the regular validation of a U.S. visa issued in India]. If you have gotten a visa denial based on section 214b [US INA] because of lack of economic ties to your country it only makes sense to apply again if your situation has changed significantly. By U.S. law you may re-apply for a visa three days after the visa interview. The European visa application procedures are differrent since visa are issued based on the itinerary provided and their validity only covers the period of proposed travel..
2 :
First of all, you needed a "new" visa, not a renewal. Also, at the time you got a visa to US, you had presumably serious ties (school) elsewhere and obligations to be elsewhere within a specific time frame. You do not have those sorts of ties now. Give it a serious rest before attempting to obtain another visa to the US. Meanwhile, you need a job in India, and work long enough to accrue at least two weeks vacation time. Buy a home, or have family, investments, property, people and obligations which compel you to return home promptly to resume work and all when your 2 week vacation is up. Save your money. Then plan a 10-day trip to the US, have the itinerary, money, hotel reservations, et al lined up, and apply for a tourist visa for the 10 days. You should be able to get it. Having been declined, unless you address the specific issues underlying that declination, you will be declined again. Your countrymen have fouled things up for you - Indians have a perfectly wretched reputation for visa fraud, such as applying for tourist visas, then looking for work (which is actually visa fraud - obtaining a visa by claiming one purpose when you actually have some other purpose or intent).

Hi, How about INDIA SUMMER! You could have many Colors through out the prom with India status here and there as well as, flowers. Remember India loves colors. Low tables to eat on and throw pillows to set on, the front door make a drawing of the Taj Mahal and have the couples take there photos before going in, after that you can hand them a sweet drink on the house lol. For entertainment you can hire a hip hop India group or a hip hop dancing group with a mix of India moves. For dinner you can have the severs dress in India outfits, the food should be mix between India and American. Maybe something like this •To start with Samosas and some chutney •Then chicken curry with rice and veggies or Tandoori Chicken with Nana bread and salad with colors •Ending with fresh fruit or sliced watermelon and mango I do hope this helps you take care and have a great time at your Junior prom

U.K. has suspended visas to student applicants from India, should U.S. follow suit?

U.K. has suspended visas to student applicants from India, should U.S. follow suit?
Is is known to us that student applicants from India are not really coming to pay tuition and study. They are taking advantage of our system, and exhaust our college resources. Once they come, they will illegally work on jobs which would other wise go to Americans.
Higher Education (University +) - 2 Answers

1 :
My experience with Indian students is that they are bright and hardworking. I like them. This is a temporary suspension in the UK, which is a much smaller country than ours and receives, for historical reasons, an unusually high number of visa applications from Indians. The idea is simply to sort out the possibly deceptive applications from those of genuine students. So, no, I don't think we should follow suit.
2 :
Something like that should probably be considered. There are many excellent Indian students, but many others are attracted by so-called "rupee whore" universities who accept just about any Indian student willing to pay high tuition fees. There is no delusion on either side — the schools know many of these bogus Indian students will sooner or later disappear into the illegal economy, maybe working for their cousins in some rundown motel. There is a lot of marriage fraud for green cards.

They are a $2 billion company growing at 25% per year and need a lot more people - no investment required also, regulated by Dti and Office of Fair trading and have investors in people award also. link is: www.efi-international.com

Please take a moment to read and understand this program I'm sharing with you. NO IT'S NOT what you think. YOU DON'T have to send $5 to five or six people to buy a report, receipt or get on their mailing list. Nor will you need to invest more money later to get things going. THIS IS THE FASTEST, EASIEST PROGRAM EVER, you will be able to complete it in LESS THAN 30 MINUTES and you will never forget the day you first viewed this online. This is the FASTEST and EASIEST way to earn serious money online that you've ever seen so far in the history of the Internet! This program works no matter what country you are in, or what currency you use. It doesn't matter how old or how young you are. And you certainly won't need any special knowledge or talent. You won't need to run a website, or make phone calls, or make photocopies, or send out letters through the mail, or pay for advertising, etc. The only things you will need are: * An email address * A Premier or Business PayPal account with at least $5 deposited in it * 30 minutes of your time ONLY 2 SIMPLE AND EASY STEPS! If you are doing other programs, by all means stay with them. The more the merrier, BUT PLEASE READ ON!! First of all, there are only TWO POSITIONS, not four; five or six like many other programs. This program is more realistic and much, MUCH FASTER. Because it is so easy, the response rate for this program is VERY HIGH and VERY FAST, and you will receive your reward in FOURTEEN DAYS. That's only TWO WEEKS - not one or two months. Just in time for next month BILLS. TRUE STORY --> June Alscar tells how she ran this gifting summation four times last year. The first time, she received $6,000+ in cash in two weeks and then $14,000+ in cash the next three times. When this program is continued, as it should be, EVERYONE PROFITS!! THIS CAN AND WILL WORK FOR YOU! HERE ARE THE DETAILS: Post this letter in 50 message boards, chat rooms, or newsgroups. You don't need to post 200 like others programs or email 40 people just to get started. Even if you are already in a program like the send six dollars to six people. CONTINUE IT and stay with it, THOSE DO PAY OUT, but do yourself a favor, DO THIS ONE TODAY as well, RIGHT NOW!!! It is simple and takes a very small investment! This program WILL PAY FASTER before the other programs you are working on even trickle in! Just give one person $5. THAT'S IT! Follow the simple instructions and in two weeks, you should have $10,000 because most PEOPLE WILL RESPOND due to the LOW ONE TIME INVESTMENT, SPEED AND HIGH PROFIT POTENTIAL. So let's all keep it going and help each other in these tough times. We all owe money to bill collectors, and creditors. But, with this, if people take the time to help each other, the good fortune will follow. SO, Take the measly minutes this SIMPLE and REWARDING program offers and give the gift that gives back TODAY!. Simply send a $5 gift to the person at POSITION ..1, if your birthday is BETWEEN JAN 1 THRU JUNE 30, OR, if your birthday is BETWEEN JULY 1 THRU DEC 31, send the gift to the person at POSITION .. 2. HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO. . . STEP 1 Ok, if you're not already a PayPal user, the very first thing you need to do is use the PayPal link below and SIGN UP. It takes just two minutes! Here's the URL: https://www.paypal.com/row/mrb/pal=RZD93H235RER4, Be sure to use this link so you can sign up for a free PREMIER or BUSINESS account. You'll need to have a PREMIER or BUSINESS account (and not a PERSONAL account) otherwise you won't be able to receive credit card payments from other people. STEP 2 It is an undeniable law of the universe that we must first give in order to receive. So the first thing to do when you have your Premier/Business PayPal account is to IMMEDIATELY send a $5 payment from your PayPal account to the email address in the position (1 or 2 - depending on your birthday in the timeline), along with a note saying: "HERE IS A $5 GIFT FOR YOU." Be certain to add this note, as this is what KEEPS THIS PROGRAM LEGAL. Instructions on how to send a payment are under "SEND MONEY" at the Paypal Site. It's so Easy!! When you send your $5 payment to either address in the list, do it with a great big smile on your face because "as you sow, so shall you reap!" After you have transferred a $5 payment to the email address, something very eerie happens. It gives you an indescribable, overwhelming sense of certainty, belief and conviction in the system. You've just proved to yourself that, because you have done it, there must be a great number of other people ready to do exactly the same. Thus you have now seen for yourself, first hand, that this business actually works! STEP 3 REMOVE the email address you are replacing (the one you sent $5 to), and REPLACE it with your own email address. REMEMBER: Use the same EMAIL ADDRESS that is used with YOUR Paypal account ! ! Paste your newly typed email address over the old one and then post to 50 Message Boards, Chat Rooms, or Newsgroups. DON'T MULL OVER IT, JUST 30 MIN OF YOUR TIME, THAT'S IT THERE IS NO MORE TO DO!! ACT FAST AND GET THE GIFT. HONESTY AND INTEGRITY MAKE THIS PLAN WORK!! DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU! POSITION..1 ---) kn_cai@yahoo.com.sg POSITION..2 ---) girlvon@yahoo.com.sg YOUR NAME COULD CYCLE FOR A LONG TIME! THIS MAKES IT THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING. This is excellent seed money to start or expand a business, buy your dream home, car and pay off whatever bills you may have. Good luck and God Bless. Play fairly and good fortune will follow. WHY THIS PROGRAM WORKS: Straight to the point, the reason this program is SO SUCCESSFUL is because this in 50 different message boards, there are only TWO outcomes (1) A person's birthday will fall on the same half as yours YOU GET $5.00..OR (2) A person's birthday will fall on the other half of the timeline, therefore, YOU STAY IN YOUR POSITION posted in 50 other MESSAGE BOARDS, etc. HOW TO POST TO NEWS GROUPS? Use Netscape or Internet Explorer and try searching for various newsgroups (on-line forums, message boards, chat sites, discussions.) Log on any search engine like yahoo.com, google.com, altavista.com, excite.com, etc., then search with the subject "millionaire message board; or; money making message board; or; employment message board; or making discussions; or ''money making forum; or; business message board; etc. You will find thousands & thousands of message boards. Click on them one by one and you will find the option 'post a new message'. Then Post this article as a 'new message' by highlighting the text of this letter and selecting copy then paste from the edit menu. Fill in the Subject, this will be the header that everyone sees as they scroll through the list of postings in a particular group, click the post message button. You're done with your first one! It only takes about 60 seconds to complete postings on message boards after you catch on. REMEMBER, THE MORE NEWSGROUPS YOU POST IN, THE MORE MONEY YOU WILL MAKE!! So there it is. You now have the knowledge that will enable you to make over $10,000 within the next few weeks. The only thing that can hold you back now is a lack of faith or a lack of self-belief. However, any doubts you may currently have will disappear within a few days of putting this plan into practice. Trust me on this! You certainly won't regret it. TOEFL is a standard examination for English language. All colleges in America are taught in English. So you must prove to the college that you have good writing and speaking skills in English. The TOEFL exam demonstrates your ability to do well in English only classes. American universities will ask you for your TOEFL scores.
2 :
Toefl testing is something worth studying for, from what I hear, even if you just do so to brush up on your grammar. A better score will be more impressive to a good university. I work on the weekends as a Toefl ibt proctor, so I know what happens during the test. When you come in, you fill out a paper about your results, then you're checked in by a proctor. They check your ID/ passport and probably take your picture. then you are seated and given 3 pieces of paper and a pencil for your use. You do the reading portion first usually, then comes listening. Then I think you get your 10 minute break. Then you get checked back in (so remember your passport if you leave the room for your break), speaking, then writing are done. The trickiest part is usually the speaking, because you really must speak loudly and clearly. It might be embarrassing but it's worth it to speak loudly so you don't have to repeat the test due to a poor speaking score. Hopefully this is helpful!

TOEFL is a test thats require for college just like SAT and ACT. you should study for it cause your future it depends on it. if you think you will do well then just take at least one practice test and see how you do. Go to http://www.toeflgoanywhere.org/ you can register online and the price its pretty high comparing to SAT and ACT

I was thinking on a student or something like that, so the salary would not be so much, but before make an offer, I wanted to check if I'm offering to few. Thank you I found this answer on this site: 12000 - 13000 entry level 18,000- 30,000- junior level senior - 30,0000 plus this is an approximate in indian rupees and it changes from company to company. This is pretty much what I want, but I need how many rupees to pay to a mid-time employee, a "trainee" employee, etc. Thank you

It depends on the project and your skills. Most PHP programming hourly rates go from $35 to $100. You could also charge a lump sum for the finished project. To give you an idea, custom graphics work for web starts at $65 per hour usually. Bein an NIOS student, is it better doing higher studies in UAE or India?
Hi! I am Fareed. I am doing 12th now in an NIOS syllabus school. I just want to know whether is it better doing college here or in India?

Depends on which subject you re planning to choose. If I were you, I would stay clear of Engineering and Finance related courses. They have a high degree of math components in their respective course structures. You might not be able to cope with the heavy load, since you re an NIOS student. The CBSE/ICSE syllabus is much tougher when it comes to Science and Mathematics subjects, so it gives CBSE/ICSE students an edge when compared to other syllabi. But if you must study Accounting, choose India for B.Com. Or study at the UAE off-campus centre of a reputed Indian university. For studying Languages/Arts like B.A. in English or History or Socology, India would be a better and cheaper option. Or else, you could study at the UAE off-campus centre of a reputed Indian university. In India, graduates do not have many opportunities for placement whereas there are plenty of jobs for graduates in the UAE. For courses like Business Adminstration, the UAE is always better due to the presence of many internationally reputed universities having their off-campus centres in the UAE, mostly in Dubai. Indian BBA/MBA degrees are not valued that much as equivalent BBA/MBA qualifications from US/UK universities in the Gulf. This would translate into better jobs and better career prospects. All the best!

I'm an about-to-graduate medicine student in India, can someone help me with this question?
I'm in my final year in a medical college in India, I want to continue my career in the U.S.A. but I have absolutely no idea where to start. I have some basic ideas about the USMLE, but thats all. I want to become a cardiologist, but what should I actually do to: (i) first of all get into a college into the U.S.A. (ii)pursue my choice of becoming a cardiologist I'll be really grateful to anyone who helps me with this question, thanks.

I have applied for PSW visa and that got rejected due to some reasons and just yesterday (5-01) i got my passport stating the reasons for rejection now i want to go back to india but my visa already been run out, so would there be any problem at immigration if i go back now?

You will have no problem returning to your own country if you depart immediately. Since your old visa expired and the new application was rejected, there is no way to remain, or to delay your departure. If you do not return home immediately, then you definitely will have problems.
2 :
You would not have any issues leaving the country to return to India. You're already leaving, so they would have no reason to detain you and lengthen that process. As far as coming back to the US, the sooner you depart after the denial, the better. Staying will mean you begin to accumulate an illegal presence which would result in a re-entry ban. The shortest of these is 3 years for 180 days of illegal presence. The ban would make any future visas or visits very difficult, so should be avoided.

Every Australian University has a Career Centre. Permission to work in Australia is no longer attached to the Australian student visa if the visa is granted outside Australia. But they can get a new student visa with work rights after they begin their own course at an Australian University. They only required paying AUD $50 application fee for the new visa. This new visa allows the student to work 20hrs a week when school is in and longer during the school holidays.

hi , I am an indian in germany, so I think I would be able to help. on campus jobs in my university are rare I think it is the same in austria as well,german/austrian universities have very limited studenten arbiet austria has uni's and fachhochshule's it depends where you want to study. Part time jobs are hard to come by it also depends on the city that you are living in if you dont get one in university but your resident city is big then your chances are higher. right now austrian universities are only charging 360 euros per sem for fees which is going to be increased shortly. Knowledge of german is very helpfull but austrians have a very accented german , its more closer to bayerisch than higher deutsche. I would still suggest you to try for USA that is the best place to try but if you still want austria then, Veile gluck!!!!!!!!

Do international Students on Student's Visa from India can get Driving license in USA to drive cars? Elaborate
Do Indian students can get Driving license? If yes then what are the documents necessary and do US authorities need the license from students of their home country?
Immigration - 3 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
Yes you can and you will need different things in different states. Go to DMV.gov You will need to take our test and study our driving laws, but they aren't that hard.
2 :
At a minimum you'll need your passport and visa. Most states will issue a non-renewable license, assuming you can pass the test, that expires at the same time the visa expires.
3 :
Yes. You would need to take your passport along with you to show as photo id proof. Also carry your I94 along with you, since that would show your tenure in the US. Finally you would get the DL issued till the date of validity as shown on your visa. If you have your indian driving license along with you, then you will get a Temp-driving-license where-in you can drive in the US by yourself, with no accompaniment. If you dont have an indian DL along with you, then you will get issued a temp-driving-permit which allows you to drive, when you are accompanied by an authorised US DL holder

Honestly, I think the attacks on Indian Students are from ignorant stupid young men that have been brought up badly by their families. I live in Brisbane, we have a very large Indian community here, many students, many Sikhs (hope I spelt that correctly) and many Indian families and shop keepers. I have never ever seen in my travels around any disrespect directed toward Indian Students or Indian permanent residents of Australia. I think if the ignorant stupid 'lets go out and cause trouble' young men were by themselves, not a thing would happen. They do what they do because they are cowards, ignorant, and if their mothers knew what they got up to, they would be in big trouble.
2 :
No, they are not safe. They are not welcomed into Australia!
3 :
safer than india if you travel late on trains to bad areas what do you expect? when you get robbed you ring india first instead of the police so there is no chance of the robbers being caught you behave stupidly in any country in the world , like india then you pay the price
4 :
no personally i don't. but just for the record, every new minority that has migrated to Australia has initially had some difficulty, i.e. when my grandfather migrated here from europe he felt a bit picked on but overall found Australians to be friendly people who were ignorant in their discrimination, it wasn't it out of hate. there are a lot of bashings which don't involve indians. it's not a white-hating-brown people situation. when you hear the word 'Australian' it also means asian, middle-eastern, polynesian, eastern europe (italians/greeks), etc.
5 :
Australia is as safe as any other country for the Indians ...... some rowdies are there in every city of any country ....it hardly generalises the over all environment
6 :
australia is as safe as any other country.
7 :
if you are worried about safety- stay out of Sydney! they have racial gangs there and the racism is brutal. everywhere else in the country it is perfectly safe- but if you are still worried about discrimination based on your race- stay out of the country. You don't have to come here so what is all the fuss about? Most of us never gave a fig either way about what race you are but I am really starting to develop a hate for indians simply because they won't let go of the topic! Plus that forum you linked to- there is just a topic, nobody has replied to it and the way it is worded it is a hate case! EDIT- what's so great about India anyway? a question I answered after your had some interesting statistics- maybe you should look at where India is before going off about Australia being unsafe! http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_mur_percap-crime-murders-per-capitahttp://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_mur_percap-crime-murders-per-capita

it is disgusting that the government is bringing so many foreigners into the country. i am by no means a rascist - i accept people of all cultures but what is happening now is over the top, let me explain. 1. the people being brought over from india can barely speak english and have virtually no skills (i'm sorry but im sure we have enough indian cooks in the country) 2. they bring their whole freaking families over from india, marry indians who all move over here. 3. because of the way india is most of the people who come here are arrogant and rude (not everyone but most) they are PUSHY. in 10 years australia will be like america with the hispanic workers doing all the blue-collar work (trademen, cleaners etc) except indian. multiculturalism is a fantastic thing. it brings diversity and we can learn about other cultures but what is starting in australia is going too far! there have been only a few case of violence against indians, and it is perfectly safe in australia.

Studying in India...International Student...?
Currently I am pursuing my Bachelor of IT in Canada. I am planning to do my master's degree in India. Can you please let me know what is the average tuition fees for international students in graduate level? How much is the rent for a bachelor apartment in india? Can you please list some good Engineering schools whose degrees are accelerated in North America.
Studying Abroad - 1 Answers

Most Indian degrees are accepted in North America. The tuition fees are very less in India. USD 10,000 might be the maximum you would have to pay in a year, though most colleges would not charge that much. The most prestigious colleges are the Indian Instituted of Technology(IIT) which are famous all over the world. But they are difficult to get into. Also, in India, colleges specialise in different streams. For eg, IITs teach only science and engineering. Delhi University, Mumbai University and Calcutta University are also well respected all over the world. For engineering again, the Birla Institutes of Technology and Science(BITS) are great, as are the National Institutes of Technology(NITs). Check these sites: http://studyindia.org/useful_tips_for_international_students_in_india.html http://www.indiaeducation.net/ http://www.educationindiainfo.com/engineering-colleges-admissions-india.htm http://www.educationinfoindia.com/ http://www.eduworldwideindia.com/index.htm Also, try to contact the indian embassy in Canada for more info.

Im 4m India im in U.S with student visa i want to get a green card and settle down here what are all the ways?
I am Bhaarath (22), I am studying in NYFA. I am doing a 3d Animation course. My dad is just a normal man, got a huge Loan and sent me here; his only dream is to see his son (that is me getting settled down here in U.S.). He spent a lot of money for me to come here and study. My course is going to get over, so do my student visa. I really want to get a Green card and settle down here. If I get back to India, The money that I invested will become utter waste. I do not have anyone here in U.S. The main motive that I chose U.S. to study is after my course is over I can somehow work and settle down. What are all the possible ways that I can settle down here in U.S. for sure (100%)? Please help me with answers.

Hi, 1: Depending on your education level ( what are you going to study: Bachelor's, Master's MBA?), appear for the SAT (Bachelors), GRE (Masters), or GMAT (MBA). 2: Appear for the TOEFL test. 3: Select the few universities are interested in ( I suggest applying to around 7 universities), fill out their online application forms by their respective deadlines, and send them your school mark-sheets (9-12th), two/three letters of recommendation from your teachers, and any forms specifically asked by the university. Also send them your SAT/GRE/GMAT and TOEFL scores from their respective websites (SAT: collegeboard.com, TOEFL: ETS.org). 4: If selected in any university, they'll send u an I-20 form, which u will use to apply for a student visa (F1 visa). Also for the visa you'll need other documents, check on US Embassy website of your nearest city. 5: If granted a visa, pay university fees by credit card or wire transfer. 6: Book a plane ticket and off you go! Best of Luck!

You have heard right. Indian passport holders only need an Airport Transit Visa (ATV, type A) for the following Schengen countries: Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Slovakia, Spain. The ATV requirement is waived for those who hold a valid visa for Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Ireland, Japan, Romania, Liechtenstein, the United Kingdom, or the United States of America. You can transit via Amsterdam without a visa provided that you: • continue your journey to a third country on a connecting flight • hold a ticket with confirmed seats for your next destination • hold all documents required for your next destination • have your luggage checked through to your final destination • do not leave the airport transit area Source(s): EU-Visa Code, Article 3, 5. Indian National do require a transit visa for UK, refer to DATV list of the Uk Border Agency.
2 :
Whether you will be granted leave to remain for 24 hours depends on the discretion of the UK Border Agency Officer. India is on the list of Direct Airside Transit Visa (DATV) nationals which even require a visa if they stay within the International Airport of a British airport. .. http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/doineedvisa/visadatvnationals .. This visa requirement is however exempted under certain circumstances; one of these is holding a valid U.S. visa and a flight ticket. Based on this exemption you may be granted a 24 hours visa free transit. ..http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/infs/inf20transit#Q6 .. A transit without visa is in general granted if a passenger arrives at another London airport than he/she departs from. Since your purpose of stay is not transit but tourist visit the Border Agency Officer may either grants you to leave the airport as an exception or deny your request since there is no actual need for it and you may stay in the transit zone. Just give it a try! I would not go ahead and apply for a visitors visa in advance; £46 for just a couple of hours is a waste of money.

How to apply for a student visa to France from India??
I would be doing an exchange program in France for about 4 months. I am supposed to apply for my visa from Chennai, India. I am little confused about VFS and Campus France. I had gone through both the websites. They both seem to be different agents and am not quite clear about the procdure. Can somebody who has done this before, advice me please.

You have to go to french embassy

The best is to go the French embassy or consulate with all the documents proving that you have been accepted on an exchange program. Typically, a document from the French institution would be best.

I'm from India and want to do undergraduate business course off campus, that is through the internet, from a good American university. Could anyone tell me about such programs offered and if any are for free?

You might want to consider a Canadian university rather than an American university. Athabaska University in Alberta offers a highly regarded business program, also an MBA, all on line. Students interact with student groups from around the world, all time zones, and the reports I've gotten are very positive. You'd have to check the tuition on line. Certainly not for free, though.
